Is the vendor portal really free right now?
Yes. Locally owned restaurants and food trucks can onboard, get listed, publish a digital menu from a photo, and use AI review tools at no charge while we grow the network.
When will Hotplate credits matter?
When flash sale publishing turns on in the product. Until then, focus on your free listing and menu — we will not ask for a subscription.
Why aren't there fixed credit amounts listed here?
Because Hotplate checkout is still in motion. When launch nears, credit top-up options will appear inside the Vendor portal first; this page stays focused on the model, not invented SKUs.
Can my staff still earn wallet credits?
Invites may still add credits to your wallet for future Hotplate publishes — but nothing is consumed until a drop actually goes live.
Is this a subscription?
No monthly plan is required for the portal. Future Hotplate purchases will stay pay-as-you-go: credits only burn when a flash sale publishes.
